It is time for Steph to Choose a guy and commit - Become better at her job - I don't know but this was like reading the same story with different jokes over and over....There is no conclusion to anything other than a few bad guys got caught....She is not better at her job she can not commit to a guy...Ranger, Joe, Ranger, Joe - enough already...I excepted better but felt really let down.

I preordered this one ... it was nice to have a box on the porch before leaving on vacation. It is standard Stephanie Plum ... not so great but not the worst either. The story line is a little different with Lula taking a larger role. Things still get blown up and Grandma is still packing heat. Maybe I am just wanting her to make her mind already about Ranger and Morrelli ... she is still waivering between the two in this book. All in all it is good for a fast read but not much more than that.
I love this series. And if you're a fan, you're going to read the book. But borrow it, or buy it used, save some money, and hopefully next year's will be worth the new release price. If possible, it seems that Miz Plum has acutally become worse at her job, which is irritating. Not that anyone ever expects her to be a great bounty hunter, but it seems that she has regressed to book one. The humor is predictable (more lewd or just plain silly than laugh out loud), the plot(s) almost seems to ......
Okay, I've read what people have to say about book 14 and 15. I've read them all, I'm a huge fan, like one person wrote, I don't read these books for their intellect, I read them because I know I'm going to bust a gut laughing! I have really enjoyed this series a lot, I really hated 14, this was better, but Janet you've jumped the shark, its time to move on. The beginning of this series had me laughing till my side hurt, now I only laugh out loud about once a book.
